Dakar Desert Rally is a racing game recreating the famous rally. The game takes place in an open world with changing weather conditions and various locations, and an important element of the gameplay is breaking down cars and repairing them. The game allows you to take part in the famous Dakar off-road rally organized by the Amaury Sport Organization. The authors have obtained all necessary licenses, thanks to which the production features locations, cars, drivers and teams known from real competitions.Dakar Desert Rally recreates the 2020 and 2021 editions of the rally. Players can play on more than 30 carefully recreated stages within a huge open world.The game simulates changing seasons and weather conditions, which affects gameplay. Players have to deal with sandstorms, downpours and snowfall, among others. Cars behave differently on the desert sands and differently when driving through deep mud.During the competition, equipment breakdowns play a key role. The game automatically allocates a limited number of repair points, but we can increase them by towing the broken cars of rivals and helping them get out of dangerous situations.
